Lifesaving courses

Swimming Association has several training opportunities within basic resuscitation and lifesaving. We offer courses for swimming clubs, institutions and schools that suit your needs and requirements. This includes, among other things, pool safety courses at swimming pools and therapy pools with a prior basic resuscitation course.

Crawl and Open water

The  Swimming Union offers a number of courses for instructors and coaches who teach adults in crawl and open water swimming. In this connection, the Swimming Union's course department has worked to develop open water coaching training, so that the individual club coach can see a "common thread" through the training. The aim of the coaching training is to coordinate and develop the training so that the clubs are offered training at a high professional level within open water training.

The open water trainer training is built on 2 modules - Start2crawl and Open water trainer. Start2crawl focuses on how adults learn to swim crawl and error correction. Open water trainer is the superstructure of start2crawl and is aimed at trainers who have to teach open water swimming with Universal Certificate.

  • The course is completed with a minimum of 14 course participants.
  • Save-your-partner is a safety course for all open water swimmers and coaches.
